MAD-ID Is Green!

Green initiatives are more than just a passing trend, they are part of our daily life at home and work, and also when we attend meetings. In an effort to be environmentally responsible, MAD-ID will continue its green efforts by the following:

  • We will provide water bottles to each attendee upon registration, and will have water stations available for replenishment, instead of providing individual bottled waters for attendees

  • We will have recycle bins at our registration desk and other locations for used paper and other products (ie cans, bottles)

  • We are reducing the quantity of paper used at our conference by posting meeting materials electronically on our website for attendees to download in advance of the program, and will also provide a CD to the attendees at the meeting which contains the program content

  • Registration conference bags and pens will be made with post-consumer recycled materials

  • We will recycle name badges and lanyards

  • Lastly, we hope to calculate and offset the carbon footprint of the meeting by donating to a local green charity
